dB Broadcast Has Attracted New Talent in a Number of Positions
Mike Birch has joined dB Broadcast as Senior Systems Engineer. Mike has over 25 years’ experience in the industry, having worked for IPE and most recently Densitron. Mike has designed and overseen numerous radio and audio projects, including being part of the team that delivered the BBC ViLoR local radio project.
Andrew King has joined as a Senior Support and Commissioning Engineer. Andrew comes from Crystal Vision where he held both test and support roles, and more recently was the Product Manager looking after the ‘Marble’ IP range of products. One of Andrew’s key roles at dB will be running the client integration/testing lab environment as well as supporting our wider projects.
Andrew McCullough is joining the Technology group as Head of Development to look after the Cardinal and S3 Fiesta products. This appointment allows us to align the software development activities we undertake in house. Andrew is returning to dB after working at Adder having previously been part of the wider dB family for many years, initially as part of Second Base and then dB Products.
Neave Spikings joined as Systems Engineer in November. Neave has a degree in Film and TV Production from York University, where she was also Chief Engineer of the student radio station (URY). Neave has worked at Global Radio, ITN and most recently ITV as part of the team supporting and developing the technology used on Coronation Street. She recently won Rise’s 2021 ‘Rising Star’ award for women who are considered stand-out performers, innovators and emerging leaders in the broadcast and media industry.
And finally, Robyn Tate has joined as Project Coordinator. Robyn also joins us from Crystal Vision where she worked supporting both the finance and product delivery teams. Robyn will be working part time in her new role.
