dB Achieves Seamless Integration of S3 Satcom Product Portfolio

The S3 Satcom product portfolio and integration business has been successfully transitioned into dB’s core operations since its acquisition. Both have dovetailed neatly with our existing system integration capabilities, with David Cope and Peter Ritchie now being integral members of the team, utilising their many years of commercial and technical delivery experience.

Since an extremely successful re-launch at IBC 2022, multiple S3 Satsio antenna and tracking systems have been delivered and successfully installed across numerous sites, with more in the pipeline. Project successes include the integration of a new 3.8m system with an S3 Satsio, for an established UK operator with an updated release of S3 Fiesta M&C software to support the installation, including components such as an L-Band Matrix from ETL and RX1 IRDs from MediaKind.

As part of dB Broadcast’s continuing investment programme for the ongoing development of the products, a number of systems, including a 3.8m S3 Satsio, have been installed at our premises for test and development purposes.

Our Managing Director & Founder David Bird comments: “We continue to go from strength to strength and this expansion further enhances the breadth of products and system integration projects dB can deliver”.
