The Scottish Parliament needed an upgrade to the facilities in its main Chamber, the home of many important debates and decisions. The eight cameras that record proceedings needed upgrading to HD.
After a competitive tendering process, dB Broadcast was awarded the contract to replace the eight cameras in the Chamber with an HD system including remote pan and tilt operation. The change to HD operation involved significant changes to the technical infrastructure including an HD matrix and new edit suites.
All work was carried out during Scottish Parliament’s summer recess.
